SKINCARE BOOSTERS - YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

We have formulated the Boosters as playful mix and match ingredient super-boosters so yes! You can use multiple boosters by applying them to your skin one after the other tailored to your skin’s needs. Use with your current skincare routine for the ingredient boost of your choice. Mix into your moisturiser or serum or apply directly to the skin.

If you want to use 2 of the Boosters together, once you have chosen your Boosters, simply use them alongside your skincare routine. We recommend using Hyaluronic acid or Vitamin C Booster BEFORE the Rosehip oil Booster. Leave a minute between applications so the product has time to fully absorb into the skin, before layering on another one. Try them out and see which way works best for you!

Our Boosters have been designed to customise and easily fit with products already in your skincare routine. Each Booster has one main active ingredient targeted at a specific concern making them ideal for mixing or layering. So enjoy using the Boosters in addition to your serums and moisturisers. You can add them to the product and mix on the back of your hand before applying or just layer on the skin directly on top of your skincare products.

Vitamin C and Organic Rosehip have been formulated as single ingredient led products to be used alongside any of our ranges. They don’t fit into a single category but will boost your current skincare routine. The Boosters will enhance your current products, so you are getting a super radiance boost if you use rosehip or Vit C with the Wild Rose Range. For an extra dose of Vitamin C, we recommend using the Vit C Booster before your Wild Rose Facial Oil or after the serum. Rosehip Oil Booster gives skin an extra dose of fatty acids and vitamin E and has a different texture and after feel to the WR Facial oil so use before or after WR Facial Oil depending on which after feel you prefer. Use Rosehip Oil Booster after the serum.

Yes, the Boosters have all been safety assessed by an independent toxicologist and are safe to be used by the general population including pregnant people. All the boosters are fragrance free so there are no added complications about using products containing essential oils during pregnancy.

Our boosters have been formulated with low viscosities for the fast, efficient delivery of actives into the skin, giving skin an instant boost. Used consistently you can expect to see results after 4 weeks (see summary of results from user trials).

    Hyaluronic Acid Booster:
Hyaluronic Acid Booster is a water-based gel formulated with a 1% complex of hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate and a Hibiscus Flower Extract to plump, smooth and hydrate skin. It contains a combination of high and low molecular weight of hyaluronic acid to help plump out wrinkles and improve the skin barrier by attracting water to the top layer of the skin (stratum corneum), keeping it hydrated. Plus, Hibiscus extract has been used to enhance hydration and help replenish dry & dehydrated skin, to leave skin looking plumped, dewier, and healthier.

    Vitamin C:
Vitamin C concentration is 2%. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) can be very irritating, so we have carefully formulated the Vitamin C Booster with a unique combination of a vitamin C derivative (Ascorbyl glucoside) known to be gentler on the skin with a botanical extract of Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract (Kakadu plum), which contains 100 times more vitamin C than an orange! Kakadu plum is also rich in polyphenols and other antioxidants making it the perfect brightening partner to ascorbyl glucoside.

    Rosehip Oil:
Organic Rosehip contains 99.6% organic rosehip oil blended with 2 different types of vitamin E, which have been added to the formulation to protect the skin against oxidative stress and to protect the product against oxidation. Why is the concentration lower than some other boosters on the market? There are 2 main issues when formulating with vitamin C, i) highly unstable molecule and ii) it has high irritancy potential. We are using a vitamin C derivative that is gentle on the skin and have kept the concentration low to avoid the potential for skin irritation, and for enhanced product stability. Vitamin C is delivered to the skin in a stable way and is found to maintain prolonged activity.

Well this depends on how often you use it and how much you use per-application! For the best results we recommend using the Booster twice a day so you should get around 60 uses from each bottle of Booster.

Yes. Consumer trials have been conducted on a panel with Fitzpatrick skin group I to VI, therefore it is suitable for all skin tones.

Products have been dermatologically tested and are suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. However, we would always recommend performing a patch test prior to first use if you have known sensitivities.

Add into your current skincare routine or apply to clean skin, once or twice a day, or whenever your skin needs an extra boost. The Boosters can be used on their own or mixed with your serum or moisturiser for an enhanced skincare routine. You can mix them into your daily dose of serum or moisturiser on the back of your hand or drop the product directly onto your skin. Gently massage a couple of drops into your face and neck. If you are layering products allow each product a minute or so to dry between applications.

Add the Boosters as an extra step in your skincare routine to enhance your routine, either blended with serum or moisturiser or applied before your serum. Alternatively use them on their own applied to clean skin.

All of our boosters are certified vegan.

The boosters can be applied once or twice a day, or whenever your skin needs an extra boost.

Yes, the boosters are unisex. Our boosters are fragrance-free, and suitable for all skin types and tones.

Directions for use for user trials were a ‘few drops’.

Not tested for skin outside the face, but would be ok in terms of safety. It’s only a little bottle so you might not have enough to spare for hands and body!

Apply around the eye area like with any other non-eye specific skincare.
